Snoop Dogg on WWE

An official announcement has been made by WWE that Snoop Dogg will be making a special guest appearance on Monday Night Raw next week. The world famous rapper has a new album being released in May, and he is out to do some promotional work for it. There are talks that management could be flying in his cousin Sasha Banks, who happens to be the NXT Women's Champion, for the event.

WWE inducting Larry Zbyszko

Looks like management had a change of heart after all when it comes to the induction of Larry Zbyszko into the WWE Hall of Fame during Wrestlemania weekend later on this month. The announcement has now been officially made after weeks of internal debates. For whatever reasons, there were those that did not want Zbyszko to be inducted this year. The former AWA Heavyweight Champion will be inducted by his hero and mentor Bruno Sammartino.

Hardy Boys tournament

A rather interesting omission from the upcoming tag team championship tournament in TNA is Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy. As of right now, the brothers have not been officially announced as entrants. From what we know, both guys are under contract to the promotion for at least another year, so that can be ruled out as a factor for their absence. Management could also be saving their announcement to build up the anticipation from the audience.

MVP signs contract

It looks like MVP has found himself a new home in professional wrestling. The official announcement has been made in regards to him signing a new contract to remain with TNA for at least another year. The former United States Heavyweight Champion has been quite pleased with how the company has been utilizing him since he started with them. His status with the company had been a bit of a question mark with Samoa Joe leaving.

WWE raises

It looks like things are pointing up for WWE. During a shareholders announcement, the company revealed that several of their high ranking executives were given raises. Vince McMahon got a nice boost in salary, and his right hand man Kevin Dunn did as well. The CFO and the head of their movie studios were two others receiving raises. Triple H received a raise as well, but interestingly enough, there was no mention of Stephanie McMahon.

Angelina Love resigns

It appears that TNA remains committed to keeping the talent level of the Knockouts division at a high level. An announcement was made today by John Gaburick on social media that Angelina Love has been signed to a contract extension. She will remain with the company for at least another year. The front office has been working diligently on signing performers to new deals since Impact Wrestling was moved to Destination American in January.

Inducting the Bushwhackers

When the announcement was made that the Bushwhackers were going to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame during Wrestlemania weekend, there were not a lot of known candidates in regards to who will be inducting them. Turns out, the perfect candidate was right under our noses. John Laurinaitis will be doing the honors. When he was first starting out as a wrestler, Laurinaitis served as a flag holder for Butch Miller and Luke Williams.

Bill DeMott still with WWE

Almost immediately upon his resignation announcement, fans made speculations about the actual status of Bill DeMott within WWE. Some believed that he had actually been covertly moved to a front office position to wait things out while the heat dies down. When informed of those rumors, management actually released a statement to the media that it was not the case. DeMott has completely resigned from the company.

Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania

While the company has not made an official announcement yet, you can bet the farm that Hulk Hogan will more than likely be at Wrestlemania this week. At the very least, he will be around to do some signings and appearances during the week. WWE wants him to make an appearance at the pay per view as well, but as of right now, they have yet to come up with an idea for him because they are focused on building up the actual card first.

Jeff Jarrett at Wrestlemania

While he is highly unlikely to ever be back with the company, Jeff Jarrett is going to be in northern Caliornia when Wrestlemania takes place. After all, that is the center of the wrestling universe. Rumors have surfaced that he is saving his big announcement about GFW until that weekend. Since there hasn't been a lot of news about his negotiations to get a television show, Jarrett will most likely reveal news on the roster and live events.
