Over the summer, ROH hired Matt Myers Jr to oversee their marketing and branding. Apparently, things did not work out. Myers is leaving the company after less than six months on the job. Joe Koff has yet to make an official announcement on the departure. It has long been felt that Ring of Honor has done a good job of marketing. Their excellent in ring product should have drawn in more fans by now.

This week, WWE was able to finalize legends contracts with Boogeyman, Superstar Billy Graham and Tatanka. They will not be the last announcements. Management is said to be working out quite a bit more of deals. The company likes these deals because they are not overly expensive, and it gives them access to more performers for public appearances. Plus, merchandise can be made.

The big announcement that Daniel Bryan teased through social media is the return of WWE to India. The promotion will be doing two shows in New Dehli in January. Management is hoping to have a good showing since the WWE Network just launched in that country. Though they will never admit it, management also wants to make sure that TNA does not gain ground on them in that territory.

After years of talking about the possibility, Kurt Angle might finally be making his way into the world of MMA. The Olympic gold medalist is teasing a major announcement from Bellator. There are rumors floating around right now that Angle is set to fight Ken Shamrock in a match. Shamrock has been teasing a major announcement as well. The former UFC star has been desperately trying to get booked.

Rumors are floating around that Lucha Underground has received an influx of cash. The promotion failed to make money during their first season, so the second season was in jeopardy until an announcement was made recently. The budget has been reduced tremendously for each episode. Management still wants Alberto Del Rio on board, but there might not be enough money for that.

While the world was waiting for Lucha Underground to make an announcement about their second season being approved, WWE officials were secretly wishing for them to go out of business. The reason for that is because they were heavily interested in some of the performers on their roster. Prince Puma was said to be a major interest. Management wanted to fast track him into a title program with Finn Balor in NXT.

While there is speculation going around that WWE is going to get a weekly television series on ESPN, the most likely announcement being made tonight by Jonathan Coachman will be that the sports network will provide coverage when Wrestlemania takes place in Dallas next spring. Things worked out really well for both sides when coverage was provided at Summerslam. The business relationship between these two companies continues to grow.
