An official announcement has been jointly made by Seven Bucks Productions and Spike TV, and it states that Johnson and his team will be producing a show to entertain the troops that are overseas. It is called Rock the Troops, and it will be similar to Tribute to the Troops, except that instead of professional wrestlers, you get other celebrities.

When the announcement was made that Ring of Honor was going to be broadcast on Destination America, a lot of the internet wrestling community assumed that there was going to be an immediate ratings war with TNA. Despite all the hype, ROH failed to even crack the top 100 cable television show for the evening. Joe Koff and company are already aware that they are running a replay, so most of their fans have already seen the episode.

Rusev injured at Smackdown

A big change might be needed for the Intercontinental Championship match at Elimination Chamber, as news has now leaked that Rusev was injured during the Smackdown taping on Tuesday. He worked a match against Ryback. The Bulgaria born wrestler was spotted in a wheelchair, while wearing a cast on his right leg and holding crutches. WWE has not made an official announcement in regards to the situation yet.

Reports have surfaced that Samoa Joe has signed a developmental contract with WWE. Terms of the deal are said to be for two years. The sum has not been disclosed, but the belief is that someone with the stature of Joe would be able to comment a bit more money that what the NXT performers normally get paid. The company has yet to confirm the signing, but they do not usually make an announcement on developmental signings.
