"I don’t know anything about [Bobby] Lashley. Lashley just looks very synthetic to me. That’s just my opinion and I could be completely wrong, and if I am, I apologize to him and his family. No, I don’t apologize to him and his family. God bless him! (laughs). If he’s clean, Jesus man, you’re absolutely phenomenal, a physical specimen. But you look at him. In order to sell his big match at Wrestlemania 3 against Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant was promoted as having an undefeated streak that stretched over fifteen years. Gorilla Monsoon heavily sold that fact as well. However, he had actually been beaten a few times in other countries during that time period.
After the eight grade, Andre the Giant decided to drop out of school, as the future WWE legend did not believe that an education was needed in order to be a farmer.
At just the age of 17, Andre the Giant moved from Grenoble to Paris to start training for professional wrestling. He hit the mats at night, while working as a mover during the day to pay his bills.
Andre the Giant was 6'3" and 240 pounds by the time he was 12 years old.
A new book, being done in comic form, about WWE legend Andre the Giant is expected to be released early in 2014.
