This rather interesting picture surfaced on Twitter this week. It's Alpha Female, who signed a contract with TNA while they were on the European tour, and LeiD Tapa carrying Al Snow, a backstage agent for Impact Wrestling.
John Gaburick, the former WWE executive who now has a lead role in TNA, reportedly has some backstage heat with Eric Young during one of the television tapings on the European tour. The two were arguing over the longevity of a spot filmed for Impact Wrestling.
It appears that the story line and character development for Brutus Magnus is working, as fans have been booing him during the European tour. Many backstage were expecting him to receive cheers like Rockstar Spud has been receiving, but they're pleasantly surprised by the crowd reaction.
In order to sell his big match at Wrestlemania 3 against Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant was promoted as having an undefeated streak that stretched over fifteen years. Gorilla Monsoon heavily sold that fact as well. However, he had actually been beaten a few times in other countries during that time period.
After the eight grade, Andre the Giant decided to drop out of school, as the future WWE legend did not believe that an education was needed in order to be a farmer.
At just the age of 17, Andre the Giant moved from Grenoble to Paris to start training for professional wrestling. He hit the mats at night, while working as a mover during the day to pay his bills.
Andre the Giant was 6'3" and 240 pounds by the time he was 12 years old.
A new book, being done in comic form, about WWE legend Andre the Giant is expected to be released early in 2014.
