Since WWE will not allow Alberto Del Rio to return to Mexico to drop the Mega Championship, AAA officials have decided to simply strip him of the belt and do a tournament to crown a new champion. The former world heavyweight championship really wanted to do the right thing and honor tradition, but his contract would not allow it.
