After weeks of being rumored, AJ Styles has finally made his debut for WWE by being the third person to enter the Royal Rumble. Roman Reigns had eliminated Rusev, who was the second entrant. Not surprisingly, the audience turned on Reigns and immediately sided with Styles. AJ was made to look like a top level performer, with Michael Cole even telling fans that he has been dominant in other parts of the world.

Members of the Bullet Club are making headlines left and right nowadays. While reports surfaced that stated that Tama Tonga has signed a contract extension with New Japan, the second generation wrestler himself took to social media to let everyone know that he is still a free agent without a deal. There were reports that Tonga was set to join AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows in signing with WWE.

Once again, Kurt Angle has reiterated to the media that his upcoming tour of England with TNA will be his final one for the time being. The former world heavyweight champion still plans on taking time away from professional wrestling to pursue other business ventures. In a rather interesting tidbit, Angle stated that if it were up to him, AJ Styles would be his opponent on the final tour of the United Kingdom.

Despite the company showing more of a willingness to sign performers that have been in the industry for several years, there is still very little interest from WWE about signing AJ Styles and having him go through the NXT program. Some thought that the mentality backstage might change with the recent success of Kevin Owens, who has immediately captured the audience, but that has not been the case. Styles is said to be rather happy with New Japan.

One of the big reasons why people believe that Samoa Joe is going to be heading to New Japan for a stint is the fact that he already has a good amount of friends that are working overseas. The belief is that he would be a perfect candidate to join the red hot Bullet Club stable. His character already has quite the history with AJ Styles, and the move would give him an immediate connection with the audience a good story line to work with.

Some good news for Yoshi Tatsu. For the past ten plus weeks, he had been wearing a protective halo around his head due to injuries suffered during a match against AJ Styles in New Japan. Tatsu revealed to fans through social media that he has now been allowed to have that removed. The road to recovery is still a long one, however, as the former WWE star still has four holes in his skull. He will be inactive for much of this year.
