For a period of time there, it looked like AJ Styles would never be under contract with WWE. However, the landscape of the industry has changed a bit, with NXT proving that the company can secure the top talents in the world and make things work. Management is now interested in acquiring the services of Styles, and that should have their fans excited. Unfortunately, though, he is under contract to New Japan until at least the end of 2015.

A lot of professional wrestling fans are under the assumption that AJ Styles hates TNA because he refuses to do business with them again. However, when asked about why he turned down the offer to make a brief return and be inducted into the hall of fame, Styles stated that the decision had nothing with how he feels towards the company. He stated that the reason why he opted against it was because his home is now in ROH and New Japan.

WWE is about to take on the Bullet Club, but it is not in the way that fans would hope for it to be. A pending legal issue is on the way, as the corporation has filed for trademark rights to the nWo hand gesture that AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Nick Jackson and Matt Jackson have made popular again. They state that they are doing it for merchandising reasons, but some believe they are just hurting the popular New Japan stable.

Some good news for Yoshi Tatsu. For the past ten plus weeks, he had been wearing a protective halo around his head due to injuries suffered during a match against AJ Styles in New Japan. Tatsu revealed to fans through social media that he has now been allowed to have that removed. The road to recovery is still a long one, however, as the former WWE star still has four holes in his skull. He will be inactive for much of this year.

Despite being one of the more respected performers for much of his career, AJ Styles and his reputation have been taking a hit lately, as some fans have been critical of the former world champion because a couple of opponents have been injured while selling the Styles Clash. During an interview, Jeff Jarrett defend Styles, stating that the opponent needs to know how to protect themselves. He stated that Styles has done the move for years now.
