On December 18 and December 19, ROH will be presenting their annual Final Battle pay per view. Management might need to scramble for a new main event match. Initially AJ Styles was scheduled to challenge Jay Lethal for the heavyweight championship. However, Styles is injured once again. No details have emerged, but he might have injured his back again.

New Japan is doing a show called Invasion Attack, and Styles will be defending the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship in the main event against Kota Ibushi. Many are expecting Styles to retain the belt because the front office generally does not like hot potato with their most prestigious belt.

Bullet Club to ROH

Next month, ROH is running a pay per view to celebrate their 13 years of being a company. Management is going big by bringing in the Bullet Club, one of the hottest acts in New Japan and the entire industry. AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Nick Jackson and Matt Jackson have all been signed for the show. All five heels won championship gold on the same night earlier this week and should be bringing the belts with them.

AJ Styles wins IWGP title

In a sign that he might not yet be ready to leave the country, AJ Styles was rewarded with another IWGP Heavyweight Championship reign by New Japan. At a recent event, he defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi to recapture the belt. Tanahashi had defeated Styles last year to win the title. Styles and the Bullet Club are in line for a major push this year, as the promotion handed five championships to the heel stable in the very same night.
