Kevin Nash cancels appearance

Maryland Championship Wrestling was more than happy to have Kevin Nash at their live event this weekend, even after he was arrested for battery and suspended almost immediately by WWE. However, the former world heavyweight champion opted to cancel out of the appearance at the last minute, citing some sort of medical emergency involving his son. The promotion was able to replace him with Mick Foley, thus keeping their fan base pleased.

Randy Orton injured

Over the weekend, there was a good amount of speculation that Randy Orton had been injured while making his return to WWE at a live event. However, it now appears that the company was simply working the live audience and the internet wrestling community. The former world heavyweight champion is just fine and should be back on Monday Night Raw very soon, perhaps as early as the next episode. Orton will be a big part of the Royal Rumble.

WWE losing Lesnar

While there are still a couple of months left on his current contract, WWE officials are said to be working with the notion that Brock Lesnar will be walking away once again from professional wrestling when April rolls around. The belief is that he will be heading back to UFC because he still has some unfinished business to take care of. Luke Gallows

Gallows saved Ryback

When he was initially released by WWE, Ryback went into a state of depression, where he resorted to heavy consumption of alcohol. He stated that Luke Gallows showed up at the bar that he worked at in Las Vegas, gave him a $30 tip and advised him to purchase a book called, The Secret. The Big Guy stated that this particular meeting helped to change his life and get his career back on track. Shortly afterwards, he was picked up by the company again.

Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt push

Even though Undertaker has not yet signed on for the match at Wrestlemania, WWE officials are going to stay prepared by keeping Bray Wyatt as strong as possible until the pay per view. The belief is that management was especially careful in how they booked him against Dean Ambrose, making sure that Wyatt remained as strong as possible without completely demolishing Ambrose. Wyatt should remain on a winning streak from now until April.

However, with his arrest, it appears that WWE officials have opted to remove him from the event. They are going about it quietly, though, as to not generate any more publicity from the situation.

Antonio Cesaro

Cesaro not pushed

For a good period of time there, Antonio Cesaro was one of the hottest commodities in WWE. Fans completely bought into him, despite his character being a heel. The belief at that time was that management was going to give him the push that he deserved. That never came. Now, the feeling backstage is that Cesaro will never be given a main event push by the company. They'll keep him around because he's a solid worker and an asset in Europe, though.

Kevin Nash suspension

While WWE immediately suspended Kevin Nash after he was arrested for battery, there is another wrestling promotion that is still standing behind the big guy. Maryland Championship Wrestling has announced that they are still honoring the contract that they had with the former world heavyweight champion, who agreed to make an appearance at their live event in Joppa on Saturday night. Nash should have no problems with being booked on the indies.

Dean Ambrose

Henry fighting Ambrose

When a potential feud was in the works between the two, Dean Ambrose and Mick Foley decided to work everyone into thinking that there was legitimate backstage heat between the two. They did such a great job that even a few of the WWE superstars fell for it. Mark Henry, in particular, was one of those who felt that Ambrose was disrespecting a legend like Foley. Henry even offered to fight Ambrose backstage as a sign of respect towards his longtime friend.
