It is being said that management is leaning towards using Bill DeMott and the other trainers as the host of the show. There are speculations that the move by the company is being done for financial reasons.

In a rather surprising move, WWE has announced that John Cena and Rusev will be wrestling one another at the inaugural Fast Lane pay per view in February. The move comes as a surprise because many feel that it is taking place much too soon. The Russian sympathizer was being groomed for a big match at Wrestlemania, so having him face Cena at the pay per view before that, it seems a bit of a quick trigger decision making.

Around this time of year, upper level performers start being paired with one another for Wrestlemania. While plans change on a daily basis, management currently has Sheamus, who is expected to make his return to television from an injury any moment now, and Daniel Bryan penciled in for a rematch at the biggest pay per view of the year. The former would have to make a heel turn in order for the feud to work out properly.

He also revealed that the accomplishment was achieved before the one year mark, which means that their online service is the fastest growing one of its kind.

An interesting point has been made about Josh Mathews being able to use the same moniker in TNA as he did in WWE. Generally, the latter corporation likes to copyright names and gimmicks that they come up with, so that they can control the capitalizing. The belief here is that management never bothered to file the paperwork to keep ownership of the handle. For those that do not know, the commentator's real name is Josh Lomberger.

Kane rewarded

During the Royal Rumble last night, WWE showed a bit of gratitude and loyalty to Kane. Management allowed him to beat the all time elimination record that was previously held by Shawn Michaels, who has eliminated performers 39 times in his career. The Big Red Machine now holds that record with his 40 eliminations. His professionalism and leadership have long been traits that were very much appreciated and respected by officials.

Zack Ryder returns

Zack Ryder is still one of the more popular stars in WWE, so his return at the Royal Rumble was quite well received, both by the fans in the audience and by the internet wrestling community. Many are still hoping to see him pushed by management, even though we have been given very little signs of that over the years. Ryder revealed to fans afterwards that his shoulder has not completely healed, so he might not be back on the road full time yet.
