While talking about the abilities of Adrian Neville, JBL stated that Owen Hart was a high flying but not anything like this. Innocently, Booker T added to that by stating that Hart did not defy gravity, which is a term used frequently for Neville. That drew the ire of fans, who immediate took to social media to bash Booker, who ended up issuing an apology. WWE decided to take it a step further by removing the comments on the replay of Monday Night Raw.

While a lot of fans were hoping that the rumors about Daniel Bryan being seriously injured were not true, WWE has now confirmed that the Intercontinental Champion will not be able to work Extreme Rules tonight. They posted an official announcement on the website, where they state that Bryan is not medically cleared. His scheduled opponent Wade Barrett will now work a match against Adrian Neville during the kickoff show.

As of this very moment, it looks like WWE has Adrian Neville penciled in for a promotion to the main roster. The way they're going to do this is by having him winning the NXT tournament and earning a spot in the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal. The front office feels that it would be a good way to introduce him to their mainstream fans. There is even a slight chance that he might be given the win at Wrestlemania as a way to springboard his push.

Unfortunately, though, that might not be happening after all. Reports have surfaced that management is looking to trim the Andre the Giant battle royal down to only 20 participants. That makes it harder for the likes of Finn Balor, Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens to get spots.

Kevin Owens and Adrian Neville came out to work a match where the NXT Heavyweight Champion was on the line. Owens retained the belt. While this might lead to some speculations about main roster promotions, the belief is that management simply threw them on the card because they were in Florida.

At the latest Takeover event, NXT fans saw Finn Balor defeating Adrian Neville, which means that he is now the top contender to the heavyweight championship. He is now scheduled to work a program with Kevin Owens, who defeated Sami Zayn in the main event tonight. Balor is on the receiving end of a push from WWE officials, but Owens is expected to remain the champion and feud with Zayn for the next several months.

Management utilized him to help give an immediate boost to Kevin Owens this week by having the former heavyweight champion be stretchered out of the arena after a brutally vicious post match assault. The idea is to build up Owens as quickly as possible, so that Sami Zayn can have an immediate challenger. Neville is still waiting for a promotion.

In a highly anticipated moment, Sami Zayn was finally able to capture the NXT Heavyweight Championship by beating Adrian Neville during an excellent match at Revolution tonight. Fans online have been begging WWE to put the championship on the former ROH star, and the audience was very vocal about it as well. The agents attempted to throw off the fans a bit by utilizing the injured referee spot, but in the end, Zayn won via pin fall.
