Earlier in the year, it was revealed that Kurt Angle wants to get into the field of education as a teacher. Some even suggested that he would also be a wrestling coach in high school as well. During a recent interview, Angle revealed that he was putting those plans on hold. The former world heavyweight champion signed with a new talent agency in hopes of getting more acting gigs to further his career in Hollywood.

John Cena returning early

As soon as Seth Rollins went down with an ACL injury, the belief was that WWE would be contacting John Cena to see an early return would be possible. To their credit, management has not done that. Instead, they are opting to respect his wish for time off to focus on other projects and heal up from his various injuries in the ring. No exact time frame has been announced, but he should be back before the Royal Rumble.

Back in 1990, Jesse Ventura sued Vince McMahon for royalties on the home videos that he appeared on. During a recent interview, someone brought up the point that the WWE Network has changed things up a bit, which prompted Ventura to mention that he was going to be contacting his lawyers to see if his quarterly checks need to be adjusted. This is similar to the complaints that CM Punk had before leaving the company.

On Monday Night Raw, Roman Reigns cut an extremely long promo. It got to the point where fans were growing restless and started acting out. To his credit, Reigns played it off and kept going. Reports have surfaced that there are those backstage in WWE that feel that management should not put Reigns in a position like that. They feel that he was being set up to have the audience turn on him even more so than before.

Truth certainly does not want to rely on the independent wrestling circuit, so he has been looking into other options in entertainment. In addition to trying to launch a hip hop career, he has also been looking into acting opportunities in Hollywood lately.

To give you an idea of just how badly the company does not want any involvement with her, reports have surfaced that WWE has instructed their employees at the headquarters to specifically reject any calls in regards to Chyna. Her lawyer recently filmed and uploaded a video of himself contacting the main office and was told by an employee of the rule.

While some fans are emotionally acting out against WWE for being so quick to fire Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, who happens to be a good friend of Hogan, defended Vince McMahon for his decision. He mentioned that a publicly traded company has to be sensitive towards their fans, investors, advertisers, board members, mainstream media and others. It was a necessary move to make.

Reports have surfaced that the former world heavyweight champion has been actively booking dates for himself in July and August. It is being said that he is actually contacting promoters and accepting their offers after having initially declined the deals to pursue a WWE contract.

As if he doesn't already have enough legal issues on his plate at the moment, Vince McMahon is facing yet another one. This time, it is being filed by Tommy Gilbert, who is acting on behalf of the late Eddie Gilbert and Doug Gilbert, who portrayed the Dark Patriot in GWF. Gilbert is suing both WWE and ESPN for using footage of his sons without their permissions. Representatives from both companies feel confident they can get the case dismissed.
