Since she is now being featured on Total Divas, WWE has instructed the creative department to focus a bit more on the win loss record of Alicia Fox. While there are no plans on giving her a huge push at the moment, the goal is to ensure that she is not losing a ton of matches like she used to. Alicia needs to be kept a relevant and competitive performer in order to ensure that her popularity does not take a hit on the reality television show.

Lucha Underground ratings

While the promotion has started gaining a little bit of steam with the internet wrestling community, there is a good amount of disappointment from those involved with Lucha Underground in regards to their ratings. The numbers simply are not as high as management was expecting. The hope is that someone like Alberto Del Rio is going to be able to help move the needle a bit. The company definitely needs more recognizable names.

When it came to the WWE Hall of Fame induction of Arnold Schwarzenegger, it is being said that Vince McMahon was all in, as he is usually is the one that pushes for celebrities to be inducted, so that the company can receive free mainstream media coverage for Wrestlemania. However, there were those backstage that privately questioned the move because Schwarzenegger has only had limited involvement with the company.

Brock Lesnar pulled

Since he is one of the highest paid performers in the company, WWE is still very selective about when they utilize Brock Lesnar on television. Initially, there were plans to have him showing up on Smackdown this week to provide that show with a bit of a boost. However, the snow storm changed up a lot of plans in the company. Management reportedly has now opted to remove Lesnar from the show and save his appearance for a later time.

Alex Riley leaving WWE

The initial plans for the Royal Rumble called for Alex Riley to make his televised return. He was reportedly set to become one of the mystery entrants at the pay per view. WWE, however, kept changing up their plans backstage that night. Riley ended up being removed completely from the show. He is not at all happy about that. In fact, he even went to social media to vent and hint that he was seriously considering a departure soon.

Alberto Del Rio rejects TNA

A couple of weeks ago, we learned that TNA had put a big money offer and a favorable schedule on the table for Alberto Del Rio, but he declined the contract. That led many to speculate that he had a thing against the company. During a recent interview, Del Rio explained that he has nothing but the utmost respect for the company and the performers. He instead opted to sign with AAA and Lucha Underground out of loyalty.

Sting at Fast Lane

Since he is only contractually required to work a couple of nights, fans have been trying to predict when Sting would make another appearance in WWE. As of right now, the most likely return would be at Fast Lane next month. It was reported that the legendary WCW performer was initially scheduled for Monday Night Raw this week, but a big snow storm prevented that from happening. A confrontation with Triple H is expected.

Officials recently shed some light on the situation by stating that they are currently looking at guys outside of the promotion that they can bring in. They stated that it would definitely be a competitive fight. It was also revealed that Punk would be a headliner.
