In less than a minute, Lashley defeated Thompson via TKO in the first. The easy victory has sparked talks of a potential title shot for Lashley. No word yet on when the former world heavyweight champion is going to fight next.

Back in the summer of 2012, Kenny King allegedly walked away from a handshake deal with ROH in order to sign a contract with TNA. Jim Cornette has not forgotten that. During a recent interview, he called King the biggest liar in professional wrestling. The legendary manager also bashed King for being a stripper when he is not wrestling. Cornette was very much against Ring of Honor allowing King to make a return recently.

Candice Michelle has announced that she has given birth to a baby girl. The former WWE diva has two other daughters, one who was born in 2010 and another who was born in 2012. When Candice left professional wrestling, she stated that she was moving to the next chapter of her life, which was being a wife and mother. She has more than kept her word and will probably never come back.

Some further details have been revealed about the tumor that Kurt Angle is having surgery to remove. It was initially discovered in 2012, but doctors did not feel the need to do anything about it at the time because it was not affecting Angle. They are removing it now because it was starting to block a nerve in the arm.

Another opponent for Alberto Del Rio has been named by ROH. The promotion chose ACH, a seven year veteran of the industry, who has been with Ring of Honor since 2012. He has never held a championship in the promotion, but he was listed as the 113th best performer by Pro Wrestling Illustrated in 2013. Del Rio will be working the match against him at the Dearborn, Michigan live event on January 30, 2015.
